Exterior renovations at 91 Moore are now complete.
We replaced all windows and doors and the entire roof. A new aluminum cladding system with added insulation was also installed. These improvements will increase the building's energy performance and enhance its curb appeal.
We expect renovations to the inside of the building will begin in 2024/2025. We will reconnect with the public on this project at that time.
If you have any questions, please contact Trisha Bradshaw, Manager of Cemeteries at trisha.bradshaw@kitchener.ca
91 Moore Ave., located next to Kitchener-owned and operated Mount Hope Cemetery, will be transformed by Kitchener Cemeteries to provide expanded cemetery services to the community.
This year, exterior renovations will completely modernize the look of the building. Construction is expected to begin June 2021 and finish by October 2021. A transformation indoors will follow within the next five years.
When complete, the building will feature indoor niches for urns, a bookable community room which will be used for family gatherings, memorial services and other events and office space for staff.
Kitchener Cemeteries is committed to keeping the community informed about this exciting project as it progresses.Subscribeto this page to receive updates.

We had anticipated the construction on 91 Moore to end in October 2021. Unfortunately, there were delays with materials. As a result, the construction is still taking place and is anticipated to be complete mid-December.
