The Region of Waterloo is currently undertaking a Schedule "C" Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) for improvements to the University Avenue (Regional Road 57) corridor from Albert Street to Weber Street in the City of Waterloo. Improvements along University Avenue (Regional Road 57) are being considered to improve roadway and underground infrastructure, active transportation facilities and traffic operations along the corridor.

This project is in the early phase of the Class EA process, the first Public Consultation Centre is being held for members of the public to become aware of the project and to provide input into the project for further development of alternatives and their environmental impacts.

The public is invited to review the alternatives being considered for this project, and provide input regarding the planning and design of the improvements being considered.

Please refer to the Key Documents to read the Information Package and review drawings showing the alternatives being considered.

Feedback can be provided online through the survey below, or by mapping your feedback below. Our in person Public Consultation Centre on March 24th, has been CANCELLED. We will be rescheduling the Public Consultation Centre, and will update the site with the rescheduled date and time once it is confirmed.
