Notice of public meeting March 1, 2023

The City of Waterloo (City) is developing a detailed design for the Brighton Street Trailhead and Pedestrian Lighting along the Laurel Trail between Peppler Street and Weber Street North. The City’s Laurel Greenway Master Plan identified and prioritized the trailhead enhancements to formalize connections to the neighbourhood and Brighton Park, and pedestrian lighting to extend the useable hours and safety of the Laurel Trail in this area.

We invite you to learn more and provide your feedback at a Neighbourhood Meeting. Here you’ll learn more about:

  • The trailhead concept (developed using feedback received from the Laurel Greenway Master Plan)
  • Proposed pedestrian lighting
