Spruce St & Bruce St Reconstruction: Public Information Centre

Consultation has concluded

The City of Cambridge is proposing to reconstruct Bruce Street from Harris Street to Main Street and Spruce Street from Bruce Street to Main Street in 2025 subject to budget approval.

The reconstruction work will involve replacing:

  • the sanitary sewer;
  • storm sewer;
  • watermain;
  • curb and gutter;
  • road; and
  • sidewalk.

Sanitary and water services will also be replaced to property line.

A private contractor selected through the City’s public tender process will complete the reconstruction.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our public information centre has been moved to a virtual format. Please view the proposed plans to see how they will affect your property, institution or residence. This is your opportunity to review the project and provide your comments to City Staff and the Engineering consultant.
