Construction Update - July 9, 2021

The south side of Bishop Street at the King Street intersection is to reopen by the end of Friday, July 9th (with weather permits).


Work completed to date:

  • All underground works within project limits;
  • Sidewalks on west side of Montrose Street generally completed;
  • Bishop Street intersection.


Work to be completed over the next 2 weeks:

  • Continue driveway installation and landscaping between Dolph Street and Montrose Street;
  • Continue sidewalk installation and landscaping behind sidewalk between Montrose Street and Bishop Street.


Surface paving is currently planned near the end of July (depending on weather and crew availability). This will require short term road closures in stages. More information will be provided in advance of the surface paving dates.
