Centreville Chicopee Community Centre Upgrades

Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Linkedin Email this link

We are making upgrades to the outdoor spaces at Centreville-Chicopee Community Centre!

This centre was first built in 1980 and additions were added in 1987 and 2001. Outside the building is a park, splashpad, playground structure, sports courts, trails and a parking lot. We need to make repairs or replace parts of those outdoor spaces because of their age. These improvements will be the first step in revitalizing the entire centre..

We're pleased to announce that construction will be starting soon! While we are excited for these upgrades, there will be some disturbances starting in the fall season.

Please note that parking will be limited at the community centre, and school drop off or pick up parking is not allowed.

Also, the pathway at the back of the community centre leading to King St. will be closed during renovations. We ask that residents find an alternate route during construction.

We will have mockups of the final design of the outdoor spaces soon and will share these with you on Engage Kitchener and the centre.
