Victoria Day virtual fireworks

The City of Waterloo has partnered with other municipalities and snapd to host a virtual fireworks experience delivered through an augmented reality (AR) platform.

Let us enjoy something together, even while we are apart. On May 18, download the snapd HUB app and use the AR lens to view the fireworks from your backyard, balcony or wherever you find yourself. Fireworks begin at 8 p.m. so be sure to download the app before then.

Details: Monday, May 18, the app will send a push notification at 7:49 p.m. with a countdown reel commencing at 7:50 p.m. The fireworks will start at 8 p.m. and can be replayed anytime after.
