Consultation has concluded

Bike Your City: Cycling Master Plan is complete and pending Council endorsement! The City would like to encourage cycling as a means to a healthier lifestyle as well as a practice to reduce road congestion, and the Cycling Master Plan will include measures to improve safety and access so that it is easier for residents to use cycling to get around as a first choice.

In 2019 the Bike Your City team was out in the community talking to residents about the connections and improvements we need to create a cycling network across Cambridge that suits users of all ages and abilities. The Cycling Master Plan included an extensive public and key stakeholder engagement program, which included multiple participation approaches and opportunities for public input, including the use of an online engagement hub, collaborative digital mapping, pop-up events, and highly interactive joint key stakeholder and community workshops. Through this process, the City heard from hundreds of Cambridge residents about their vision for cycling in the City.
