Notice of Study Commencement and Public Information Centre

The City of Waterloo has initiated a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) for Denholm Pond, a small body of water contained within a private property on Denholm Street, Waterloo (see map).

Local residents have expressed concerns about the Denholm Pond, including odours, ongoing flooding, and erosion conditions along the channel and pond banks. The city is undertaking this Schedule B MCEA to address these concerns and identify a long-term solution for Denholm Pond.
