The University of Waterloo has generously hosted a community Canada Day celebration since 1984. Their commitment to the community to organize and sponsor this large event has been appreciated by the thousands of people who have attended over the years. The university will be hosting a fireworks only event on July 1, 2019 and will no longer host the event as of 2020.
