This project supports the Region of Waterloo's strategic focus area(s):

This project will:

  • Address the deteriorated pavement condition.
  • Urbanize the corridor with storm sewer and curbs to improve drainage and help reduce traffic speeds.
  • Improve cycling and pedestrian facilities.

Engagement
The first public engagement (Public Consultation Centre) for this project was held in April 2019, at which time we presented a preferred design and asked for public input. At the second public meeting in 2021, we shared the preferred design concept for Myers Road based on feedback received from the first public consultation. The Information Package and drawings showing the Preferred Design Concept are available in the Document Library.

    February 2023 Survey - Interim Improvements

    Please review the proposed plans for the interim construction on Myers Road. 

    We will take these revised plans to the Region’s Planning and Works Committee meeting on April 4, along with a summery of any public comments received by February 27, 2023.

    Myers Road Reconstruction PCC#2 - Closed



    The public is invited to review the improvements being considered for this project and provide input regarding the proposed design for the reconstruction of Myers Road. 

    This survey is expected to take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Feedback can be provided online through the survey link below until March 2, 2021. 

    NOTE: All comments submitted will be posted publicly for this project and any identifying information will be removed. This means that comments may be reported exactly as written on the Region's website, on the EngageWR page for this project, the Region's social media and/or Council reports.

    Myers Road Reconstruction - Closed

    Interested members of the public are invited to fill out this Survey or the Comment Sheet that was provided at the Public Consultation Centre.  All comments received will be considered along with other information received over the course of the project to assist the Project Team in completing the planning and design for Myers Road. 

    The survey will remain open until April 26th, 2019.
