My memory about The Aud is me working in the past there, working events with a bunch of great coworkers, seeing different shows, concerts, The Harlem Globetrotters, the Kitchener Dutchmen, Kitchener Rangers and Kitchener Panthers. Of course winning the 50/50 at the Rangers game. Skate with the Rangers. Also giving Mike Farwell Butter tarts before the Rangers game. Meeting new people. Just enjoying the fun times I had at The Aud. - Karalee Stockie

In about 1967 the New York Rangers played an exhibition game against the Chicago Blackhawks. The game was fantastic. After the game Bobby Hull came over to the boards and talked and joked and signed autographs. He went above and beyond and as a 12 year old gave me a great memory at the Aud I'll never forget. - Murray McKinnon

I was in attendance the night Jeff Skinner scored his 50th goal against Owen Sound. In dramatic fashion in the dying seconds of a 4-4 game,Skinner scored his 50th against Jordan Binnington. The Aud literally exploded! A night I won’t soon forget! - Mark Paterson

I attended my very first concert at the Kitchener Auditorium as a teen in the early 70’s. It was Three Dog Night and I will never forget that wonderful coming of age experience at the Auditorium! Jeremiah was a bullfrog! - Carolyn Moore

  • Teddy bear love!

I have many memories of the Aud, but one of my favourites is from the teddy bear toss. The first time we went, my daughter was very young. since it took a while for that first goal, she got rather attached to her bear and was a bit sad to see him go to it’s new home. Many years later, I was able to attend another one with my son and enjoy some pregame food and refreshments! - Jim Foley

  • A hockey career highlight

The Aud was the host facility for the Special Hockey International 2013 Tournament featuring 64 teams from Canada, England and United States. Many volunteers provided their skills and services including National Hockey League officials Ray Scapinello (linesman left) and veteran referee Bill McCreary (right) much to the delighted of the more than 1,000 special hockey players. For many, this week-long event was a highlight of their hockey careers.

Many years ago we went to see a Rangers game. Walter Gretzky was sitting close to us and a bunch of children came for autographs. He had a beautiful smile and the children were so happy. - Jane McKenzje
