Waterloo volunteer advisory committees provide advice to City Council and staff on important local issues such as parks, trails and bike lanes, the environment, culture and public events, economic development and more. They are groups of people who live, work or study in Waterloo and volunteer to be on the committee for two years, meeting about once a month.

The City of Waterloo is interested in gathering ideas from the community on how to increase participation and representation on these committees.

Take our short, seven-minute survey to share your opinions and ideas on how we can improve our advisory committees. Your input will help inform the governance, meeting formats and recruitment practices of these committees.
