Public meeting: using city-owned lands at 2025 University Ave E for housing

When: Wednesday, May 8, 2024, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Where: Community Room (Second floor), Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex Community Pavilion, 101 Father David Bauer Drive

Learn more about the City's plans to use the vacant property at 2025 University Ave E for housing. Staff will present an overview of the need for more housing, the Ministerial Zoning Order process to enable residential uses on the site, and how various issues such as traffic impacts, and building design will be considered and incorporated into any future development. You will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.
