We will be planting 39 trees at Northfield Park and along MacEachern Creek Link. Trees along the link will help rejuvenate the creek area from the loss of ash trees. We will also be lining the soccer fields with trees to provide shade and a visual buffer for the school yard. Planting is planned for early May.

Tree types: Basswood, black gum, white cedar, pagoda dogwood, eastern redbud, elm, hackberry, bitternut hickory, shagbark hickory, kentucky coffeetree, red maple, sugar maple, musclewood, burr oak, swamp white oak, smooth serviceberry, sycamore
