It is unlikely that this project will provide any noticeable improvement to water pressure in this neighbourhood. This area has been identified in the City’s Water Distribution Master Plan (2017) as a low pressure area (please refer to section 10.3 Cluster Area C for specific information). A future project which will add a watermain on Westmount Road will shift this area to a new pressure zone, which will see increased water pressure for the area. That project is currently scheduled for completion in 2025 by the Region of Waterloo, although the date is subject to change outside the City’s control.
