As part of the City of Kitchener’s work to provide consistent and reliable services, we are planning road and sewer improvements on the streets listed above.

Construction is expected to begin in spring 2028 and will take at least two construction seasons to complete.

Residents on affected streets will receive information before construction starts and updates throughout the project. Updates will also be posted below.

Planned improvements include:

• Upgrading storm sewers, sanitary sewers, and watermains, including additional fire hydrants where needed
• Replacing sanitary and water service connections from the new mains to the property line
• Installing curbs, gutters, and sidewalks
• Upgrading the asphalt roadway
• Replacing driveway entrances with concrete ramps
• Installing or replacing retaining walls where needed

These improvements will replace aging underground pipes and road features, helping to reduce the risk of future service problems. The project will be funded through utility user fees and there will be no direct cost to homeowners.
