Closure notice and updated construction schedule

20 October 2025

Construction update

The construction is progressing ahead of schedule and we're hoping to accelerate the overall project timeline and complete everything by the end of 2026. To meet this timeline, some of the construction will continue through the winter, including deep tunneling work along the middle portion of Conservation Dr. and replacement of the Beaver Creek culvert on Conservation Dr.

Road closures

Unexpected ground conditions will require the Beaver Creek Rd. and Conservation Dr. intersection to be fully closed in order for crews to complete the work safely. The closure is expected to start on October 27, 2025 and reopen in March 2026, but is weather-dependent. Closure signs and detour information will be put in place.

Conservation Drive will remain open to local traffic only from Erbsville Rd. There will be no access from the east until work on the roundabouts are completed in spring 2026. During the winter, there will be tunneling and culvert work, but access to local residences will not be impacted. For the tunneling work, a temporary road will be constructed for impacted residents as needed. Pre-grading preparation work along the road to widen areas will continue until the end of 2025.

Beaver Creek Road will be open to local traffic only with access from Laurelwood Dr until March 2026.

Erbsville Road will remain open in both directions during infrastructure installation.
