Public consultation is an integral component of the study to seek input from the local road users and stakeholders. The City would like to gather feedback on matters that are most important to the community for the design of Beverly Street within the existing design guidelines.
Two Public Information Centres were completed as part of the Environmental Assessment (EA) to present and receive feedback on:
study area issues;
preliminary design alternatives; and
the recommended plan.
An additional Public Information Centre is being held on this virtual platform in mid-November to receive feedback on the detail design.
This project is important to all stakeholders, property owners and road users within the project limits, and the project team values your input in the decision-making process.
Project timeline
The design is currently 100% complete. The construction of this project is currently scheduled to be completed in two phases, with the pedestrian underpass constructed in 2021 and Beverly Street road reconstruction in 2023.
