The Township of Wellesley has retained Tatham Engineering to provide engineering services and project management to complete this infrastructure improvement project. Preliminary design work was started in 2025 and is continuing through 2026.

This bridge rehabilitation project was identified as a priority through our Ontario Structure Inspection Manual (OSIM) reports that occur bi-annually. Construction is set to begin in the summer of 2027 and is planned to be completed by the end of September 2027. This project will include rehabilitation of the bridge deck and wingwalls and replacement of the barrier walls and expansion joints.

Funding for this project is planned to be split between the federal Canadian Community Building Fund (CCBF), the provincial Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund (OCIF) and the Wellesley Township Infrastructure Reserve.
