As part of the Municipal By-law Compliance Strategy, the City of Cambridge is conducting a review of our Fireworks By-law, which sets restrictions for setting off fireworks within City limits to ensure that Cambridge continues to be a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable community for all.

Did you know fireworks can only be set off on Victoria Day, Canada Day and Diwali? To use fireworks on any other day, you must get a permit from the City.

We want to hear from our community!

Join the conversation and have your say on fireworks by completing our five (5) minute survey, your feedback will help staff develop a recommendation to improve the City's Fireworks By-law and ensure that Cambridge continues to be a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable community for all. The survey will close on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.

If you would like the survey in an alternate format, please submit your request to John Mattocks, Manager of Municipal By-law Compliance at 519-623-1340 extension 4501 or mattocksj@cambridge.ca.
