Construction Update August 9, 2019
Progress since last update:
· The roadway in Phase 1 has been prepared with gravel and is ready for curb placement between Dover Street to almost Westminster Drive.
· Storm sewer installation east of Lowther Street has started
Upcoming work over the next couple of weeks:
· Continue storm sewer installation working west from Lowther Street in Phase 2
· Start installing sanitary and storm sewer service laterals working west from Lowther Street in Phase 2
· Start placement of curb in Phase 1 (Dover Street to almost Westminster Drive)
· Start placement of asphalt in Phase 1 (Dover Street to almost Westminster Drive)
· Start placement of underground conduits for new streetlights
We want to remind everyone that King Street will remain open to one lane of traffic in each direction for the duration of construction. For safety reasons, on-street parking on King Street will not be permitted within the construction zone.
