Community Workshop Presentation

Project Description

The City of Cambridge is developing a Secondary Plan for the community of Preston, as shown in Figure 1. The Secondary Plan will bring forward a focused approach to planning for future growth and development in Preston over the next 25 years, and establish the vision and goals for planning for a thriving community.

A Secondary Plan is being developed for Preston as one of the community core areas in Cambridge where significant growth is anticipated in years to come, as identified in the City’s Official Plan. With this Secondary Plan, the City will be able to plan for Preston at a more detailed level and ensure that the needs of existing and future community members can be met, with the range of housing types, community facilities, and infrastructure needed for people to live, work, and play in the community.
