Father David Bauer Drive Play Area

The play area at 100 Father David Bauer Drive, on the west side of Waterloo Park, is getting an upgrade. Many of the features are worn out and a full replacement is needed to keep the space safe, fun and welcoming for everyone in the community.

Through past park engagements, community events and conversations with residents, we’ve learned that

community members value having a natural play area that is accessible, offers shade and is designed for a range of ages —from toddlers to teens.

Based on this feedback, we’re preparing two design options for the new play area. Both will keep the existing natural feel, with improvements to the sand and water play features as well as a new space geared toward teens.

Once the draft designs are ready, we’ll share them here and invite you to vote on the features you’d like to see included in the final plan.
