The City of Cambridge is replacing gateway signs at key entrances to the city and is inviting residents to help decide which photos to showcase on the newly designed signs.

Eleven signs are being replaced, and each new sign will highlight a different image. Signs featuring specific neighbourhoods will be placed at a nearby entrance to the city. Once the photos have been chosen, the new signs will be produced and installed later this fall. The existing signs require replacement due to age and weather-related wear. They were inspected, but unable to be repaired.

Due to the size of the signs, the photos require a very high resolution to print clearly. For that reason, photo submissions from the public were not considered.

Voting will remain open until Sunday, October 4.
