Share your feedback on the draft Official Plan until December 12, 2025

13 November 2025

Over the last 14 months, we've worked together with the community and collaborators, on a new Official Plan. Kitchener 2051 is the long-term vision for the way our city will grow and evolve to the year 2051. Guided by our shared values and aspirations for the future, the new Official Plan will help the City tackle the challenges of today while building the resilience needed to adapt and thrive into the future. This will be done through clear directions and policies that will guide how and where we grow – helping to shape a future Kitchener that is connected, caring, and resilient.
