Help us test a new mapping tool for accessing information on development applications!

Property owners can apply to change the City’s Official Plan and Zoning By-law and divide land through a Subdivision Application. City staff review each request and make a recommendation to City Council, who will make the decision to approve or refuse the application.

Information on current planning applications can be accessed through a new, publicly accessible, mapping tool. This tool was created to increase transparency and improve access to information. Beginning with three types of development applications – official plan amendments, zoning by-law amendments and subdivision applications – and building out to all application types in 2022, information on each application can be obtained through this tool, including a description of each application, studies and reports and much more!

As an early user of this tool, your feedback will help us provide the best experience for everyone. It’s not perfect, but we’re working hard to provide a great user experience and we want to hear from you.
