Welcome to the project page for the planned reconstruction of Moore Avenue South (Waterloo St. to city limits). The City of Waterloo intends to completely reconstruct Moore Ave S to replace the aged watermain, sewers and road structure (i.e. sidewalk, curbs and asphalt). This will also include the replacement of water and sanitary service equipment up to the common property line. This project will also involve the decommissioning of the City of Kitchener’s Sanitary Pump Station #5 at the municipal boundary, and re-routing of storm and sanitary sewers along Moore Avenue South . The City of Waterloo will be in charge of managing and completing the project even though it crosses municipal jurisdictions. City of Kitchener engineering staff provide support.
