The Township of Wellesley has retained Tatham Engineering to provide engineering services and project management to complete this infrastructure improvement project. Preliminary design work was completed in 2024 and tendering was finalized in the spring of 2026, where the project was awarded to Wellington Construction Contractors.

This bridge rehabilitation project was identified as a high priority through our Ontario Structure Inspection Manual (OSIM) reports that occur bi-annually. Construction began in May 2026 and is planned to be completed by the end of June 2026.

Funding for this project is shared 50/50 with the Township of Perth East as this is a boundary road. The Wellesley township portion is being fully funded from the federal Canadian Community Building Fund (CCBF).
