In our last update in November 2025, we shared that construction of the creek was expected to begin in 2026.

Since then, the project timeline has changed. The City has made significant progress acquiring and preparing the land needed for the new creek corridor. However, some land-related work still needs to be completed before construction can begin.

As a result, construction is now expected to start after August 2028. The City will continue to share updates as the project moves forward. Before construction begins, we will host a public open house to share the final construction plans and schedule.
