About the Project
The Township of Wilmot is continuing the reconstruction of Snyder's Rd. W and Foundry St. in Baden.
Improvements will include:
- Installation of new sanitary sewer systems
- Implementation of storm sewer systems
- Upgrading of watermain infrastructure
- Construction of concrete curbs and gutters
- Addition of concrete sidewalks
- Development of concrete separated cycling lanes
- Reconstruction of the road base
- Application of a new asphalt riding surface

Phases
Phase 1 of construction included Snyder's Rd. W from Mill St. to Christian St.
This phase was mostly completed in 2024, with final restoration to be completed in the spring of 2025.
Phase 2 of the project began on April 14, 2025, and should be completed in late fall.
This phase includes Foundry St. from Snyder's Rd. to Charles St. and the remaining section of Snyder's Rd. W from Foundry St. to Mill St.
Stage 1C of Phase 2 is now in progress.

- Foundry St. from Snyder’s Rd. to Charles St.
- Snyder’s Rd. and Foundry St. intersection.
- Snyder’s Rd. W to Tim Hortons driveway
The following areas are closed:
- Snyder’s Rd. W from Mill St. to Tim Hortons driveway
- Snyder’s Rd. W and Mill St. intersection
Access to the following buildings and businesses is as follows:
- Castle Kilbride and the Township Administration Complex via Wagler Ave.
- Baden Village Square Plaza via Livingston Blvd.
- Tim Hortons from the east on Snyder's Rd.
- EJ's restaurant via Mill St.
Detours are in place and all businesses are open during construction; directional signs are posted.
