The Stanley Park Community Association (SPCA) is a volunteer-run neighbourhood association that has been bringing programs and events to the Stanley Park Community Centre for the last 20 years. Over the years, our community has grown and evolved and we believe now is a great time to check in with residents about what matters most — what you value, what’s working well, and what could be improved or offered next.
Over the next several months, City staff will support the SPCA in gathering input from people of all ages who live, learn, volunteer, or participate in activities at the Stanley Park Community Centre. Your feedback will help the SPCA understand current community priorities and plan for the future.
We’re using a mix of tools – a short survey, idea boards, and informal conversations – to make it easy for everyone to share their voice. We’re especially aiming to hear from a wide range of neighbours, including:
- families
- children and youth
- seniors
- newcomers
- those who may not currently participate in our events, programs, or services.
What you share will help shape the SPCA’s next steps:
- identifying community strengths and needs,
- setting priorities for future programs and events, and
- helping to plan for 2027 and beyond.
Thank you for helping build experiences that reflect and support our community!
