Final design

July 8, 2026

The final design includes a playground, splash pad, gathering spaces with a shade structure and picnic tables, a washroom and mechanical building, a floodable ice rink, parking, a community garden, sports courts, an outdoor classroom, accessible pathways

The final design for St. Moritz Park reflects what we learned from the community through two rounds of public engagement held between March and mid-October 2025. Feedback from residents helped identify the park’s priorities and played an important role in shaping the proposed concept.

The layout brings together a range of features designed to create a vibrant, welcoming, and well-connected park for people of all ages and abilities. Key elements include a playground, splash pad, gathering spaces with a shade structure and picnic tables, a washroom and mechanical building, a floodable ice rink, parking, a community garden, sports courts, an outdoor classroom, accessible pathways, seating areas and naturalized park features.

Together, these elements will create a park that supports recreation, social connection, community gatherings and year-round enjoyment.

We are currently finalizing the playground and splash pad designs (stay tuned for updates), as we advance the detailed design, complete the necessary approvals, and prepare the project for tendering and construction.
