Note: Construction updates are being provided as a courtesy to keep residents appraised of upcoming work. Due to the nature of construction, schedules can quickly change, and residents should be prepared for unexpected changes.

The temporary watermain has been activated, and pending confirmation from Enbridge that all old gas mains have been decommissioned, the contractor plans to return to the site and begin replacement of sewers and watermain following the Victoria Day holiday. The current plan for construction over the two-week period from May 13 to 27 is:

  • Confirm decommissioning of old gas mains.
  • Begin replacement of water and sanitary service pipes from property line to roadway, following Victoria Day holiday.
  • Begin replacement of sanitary sewer main.

A reminder that temporary changes to on-street parking in the neighbourhood are in effect. Certain areas have had on-street parking removed to facilitate 2-way traffic or maintain space for emergency access during higher than average traffic volume. Please watch street signs for the changes. Where signs prohibit parking, except with a valid permit, means those with a parking pass provided to affected property owners may use them.
