The Township of Wilmot is preparing to reconstruct sections of Victoria St. and Boullee St. in New Hamburg.

This extensive infrastructure project will modernize and strengthen area infrastructure, provide capacity for growth, and benefit both residents and business owners.

The work will be done in stages over the course of two construction seasons:

• Stage 1 (starting May 2025): Reconstruction of Victoria St. from Highway 7 to Boullee St.
• Stage 2 (starting 2026): Reconstruction of Boullee St. from Victoria St. to Hamilton Rd.

Improvements will include:

• Installation of new sanitary sewer systems
• Implementation of storm sewer systems
• Upgrading of watermain infrastructure
• Construction of concrete curbs and gutters
• Addition of concrete sidewalks
• Development of a multi-use trail
• Reconstruction of the road base
• Application of a new asphalt riding surface
