The City is reviewing its parking requirements for new housing development and considering updates to make optimal use of land and promote affordability, particularly in areas well-supported by transit. This review will include the creation of a process for considering further parking reductions for secured affordable housing developments.

- Research, consult on and develop parking policies and regulations
- Develop process, legal agreement templates and monitoring framework for reviewing additional parking reductions requests for affordable housing
- Seek council approval for new Official Plan policies, Zoning By-law Amendment and parking review processes
