Share your ideas for Waterloo Park

The City of Waterloo is creating an updated plan to guide how Waterloo Park will grow and change between now and 2050. This plan will set a big-picture vision for the park's future and identify changes to keep up with the community's needs over time.

We would like to meet with you to learn what ideas you may have for the park.

This will be a focused engagement event for members of the local Indigenous community.

Date: Wednesday, November 18, 2026
Time: 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Location: Meet at the front entrance of the Community Pavilion, 101 Father David Bauer Drive, Waterloo, at 4:30 p.m

What to expect:

  • We will start with a walk to the location of the Sacred Fire, in Waterloo Park West (100 Father David Bauer Drive and 90 Westmount Road North, Waterloo). It is the same location where O:se Kenhionhata:tie Land Back Camp set up a peaceful gathering in the park in 2020. It is approximately a 5-10 minute walk (500m away).
