Breslau Staging

Community Conversations on the Staging of Breslau

The Township of Woolwich is preparing a Staging Plan to guide how Breslau grows over the coming decades. With Breslau’s urban area expanding by about 400% through recent provincial approvals, careful planning is needed to manage where and when new development will occur.

The proposed Breslau Staging Plan report was presented to Council in August 2025 as a framework for growth. The Staging Plan will outline the pace of residential growth, the sequence of new neighbourhoods, and the infrastructure and services needed to support them. Industrial areas and airport lands are not subject to the same staging policies but will continue to follow staging for services.

Whether you live, work, or own property anywhere in Breslau, we want to hear from you! Your input will help shape the preferred Staging Plan that will go to Council in early 2026. Below you will find a comment box where feedback can be provided. Click 'Read and Contribute' to view others' comments and to provide feedback.

For clarifications on the Breslau Staging Plan, please reach out to Victor Labreche or John Scarfone listed in the contact section below. If you wish to book a meeting with Township staff to discuss the staging plan, please reach out to planning@woolwich.ca, or use the 'Book Now' button found on the right side of the page.

All comments must be received by December 31, 2025, in order to ensure they are considered by the township as the Breslau Staging Plan is finalized.
