Making facemasks for the community

Making facemasks for the community.

My mom (as shown above) has been spending her free time making facemasks for the community and hospitals, along with the Kitchener-Waterloo Taiwanese Canadian Association. She sits by the kitchen table, spending countless hours learning how to make the masks. Her job has been shifted to working from home, and this allows her to find a way to be involved while practicing social distancing and following epidemic prevention and control measures shared by our local health authorities. As the temperatures begin to warm up, the gardening season has started and she is beginning to germinate her seeds. The tomato sprouts show the start of a new journey; symbolizing the new "semi-normal" life we will be facing for many years to come.
