NOTICE OF NEIGHBOURHOOD MEETING

Date: Monday, February 3, 2025

Time: 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Access to City Hall will open at 5:30 p.m.)

Location: City Hall, 50 Dickson Street, Cambridge

Bowman Room on Ground Floor

Format: Councillor Introduction, Staff Presentation, Public Questions & Feedback

Ward Councillor Cooper and City of Cambridge Staff invite you to attend an Informal Neighbourhood Meeting to discuss Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment Application OR10/24 for the subject lands at 25 Chalmers Street South.

The City of Cambridge currently owns the subject lands. The City is proposing Application OR10/24 to change the existing policy and zoning framework to facilitate redevelopment of the lands. The proposed redevelopment could contain residential and commercial units and a public community facility, offering affordable housing to qualifying residents.

For more information on the application and development proposal, please visit: https://www.cambridge.ca/en/build-invest-grow/current-development-applications.aspx

A neighborhood meeting is an opportunity to exchange ideas and information. There are no decisions made at neighborhood meetings.

To ensure as many as possible have an opportunity to speak at the meeting, each person will have 5 minutes to ask questions and/or provide feedback. City Staff will answer questions as they arise. After considering all feedback received from the public, the proposal for the redevelopment may be modified. City Staff will prepare a recommendation report. The recommendation report will be taken to a future Council meeting for a decision of Council.

Feedback Forms will be available at the meeting and online under this Application at https://www.cambridge.ca/en/build-invest-grow/current-development-applications.aspx

If you are unable to attend, and would like to provide feedback, receive future notices, and/or have any questions, please email or call:
