Connected Kitchener 2051: New ways to share your input

June 3, 2026

The City of Kitchener is entering the next phase of engagement for the Transportation and Mobility Plan (TMP) – and community feedback is needed to help shape how people move around the city through 2051.

Building on input gathered in Fall 2025, draft policies, priorities, and network recommendations have been developed. Feedback from earlier surveys, pop-up events, and the interactive map helped identify key transportation needs, challenges, and opportunities. This phase focuses on refining those directions before the plan is finalized.

How to get involved

Community input at this stage will help refine the Transportation and Mobility Plan to ensure it reflects local priorities and supports a more sustainable, equitable, and efficient transportation system for Kitchener’s future. You can share your input at events this month or through our online questionnaire.

We’d like your feedback on:

  • The draft recommendations
  • What matters most to you when walking, cycling, rolling, taking transit, or driving
  • Your priorities for improving transportation in Kitchener
