The Township of Woolwich is currently working on the construction of Industrial Drive from First Street East to South Field Drive.
The scope of the Industrial Drive work includes the replacement of the existing underground storm sewers, sanitary sewers, watermain, individual sewer laterals and water services up to the property line, replacement of the full pavement structure, the installation of curb and gutter, and a sidewalk along the East side of the street.
The preliminary design of Industrial Drive was completed in the spring of 2021, after which a Public Consultation Centre (PCC) was held Virtually due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The majority of the road reconstruction was completed in 2022, with all project work anticipated to be completed by the end of Spring 2023.
