What kind of home will you have? What will your neighbourhood look like? How will you get around? Join staff at the upcoming Approaches to Growth workshop to find out.

Date: May 1, 2025

Time: 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Location: Kitchener City Hall Rotunda (200 King Street West)

Refreshments and food will be available. More details are available on the event page.

Can't make it?

Check out the online version of Approaches to Growth instead. This 15-minute interactive activity mirrors the format of the in-person event. Keep track of your answers to find out what is your approach to growth. Share your reflections on the activity and the three approaches to growth we've developed.

Explore different ways to grow!

Imagine it’s 2035. Through the lens of an avatar, explore eight short scenarios and make decisions that best fit the kind of future you’d like to see.

Recording now available

On Saturday, April 5 we held the second session of the Kitchener 2051 speaker series with Helen Kerr, an educator and leading Canadian foresight practitioner. Helen is one of the great design minds of Canada who brings together design thinking and future perspectives to look at and use ideas about the future to help us anticipate and better prepare for change and disruption. The recording of her talk is now available on the Speaker Series #2 event page.
