Ernie Robson

A fixture at the Arena was Ernie the best ticket taker in the Province. Ernie was such a supporter of the Arena and Hockey teams. I remember Ernie going to Europe with The Hornets and it being one of the thrills of his life. He was a great ambassador for Galt/Cambridge.

What a great share of memories. Ernie was a soul that a lot of Cambridge residents remember fondly. Galt Arena included, and so much more.

Who can forget Ernie, always walking the downtown with his briefcase, selling advertising in the Hornets program. Always had a wave when we’d say hi in passing.
