Construction update September 30

October 2, 2026

Note: Construction updates are being provided as a courtesy to keep residents appraised of upcoming work. Due to the nature of construction, schedules can quickly change, and residents should be prepared for unexpected changes.

Despite the roadway being paved, the project is not yet complete. Please be mindful that on-going activities will be continuing and may, on short notice, lead to a lack of access during the workday.

Not much work is expected to occur between now and October 13, 2026 .The following lists work that is still to be completed:

  • Finish benching and parging the inside of storm and sanitary sewer structures, pending availability of crew.
  • Complete hydraulic sewer cleaning and deflection testing, pending completion of benching and parging of sewer structures.
  • Install new “no parking” signage between Waterloo St and Graham St, pending receipt of signs from supplier and availability of crew.
  • Finish in-place abandonment of sanitary forcemain in boulevard on Moore Ave from Graham St to just south of Guelph St. Will likely be completed after October 13, as it is to be completed in conjunction with the abandonment of watermain on Union Street.
