The City of Waterloo, in conjunction with the City of Kitchener and engineering consultant, WalterFedy, invite you to attend a public information session to review the proposed plans for the reconstruction of Moore Avenue South and how it might impact your property, business or residence. This informal ‘drop-in’ style information session provides you with an opportunity to review the project in detail with City and project staff.

Date: Thursday November 13, 2025 Time: 6-8 p.m. Place: Church of the Holy Saviour, 33 Allen Street East, Waterloo, ON *Enter church parking lot off Allen Street. Park in rear parking lot if driving a vehicle. Enter through rear doors to Parrish Hall.

The public meeting provides interested residents with an informal forum to review the preliminary design plans, ask questions of City and engineering consultant staff, and learn more about the overall project scope and schedule.

All interested residents are encouraged to attend to learn about the project scope and how they will receive ongoing updates about the project prior to construction. Topics of interest and frequently discussed items include:

•Identifying trees that may be removed.

•When driveway access will be restricted and where to park vehicles during this time.

•How pedestrians access is maintained during construction.

•How and when water and sewer services may be interrupted.

•City standards for replacing sanitary and water service laterals (pipes).

•Measures to minimize impacts to landscaped features on private property.

•Waste collection and mail delivery procedures during construction.

•City standards for replacement of driveway aprons (bottoms) within the municipal right-of-way and measures used to minimize impacts to private driveways.

•Potential requirements for access to private property to replace water and sanitary service laterals and associated disturbances.

•City policy regarding boulevard areas with landscaping completed by residents.
