The naming contest is over. Thanks for helping us name six more snow plows!

Last year, residents sent us thousands of fun and creative names for Kitchener snow plows, and then voted for their favourite names. Over the past season, you might have seen some of these vehicles clearing city streets: Brrlin, Mr. Plow, Plowabunga, Plowasaurus Rex, Snow-Be-Gone Kenobi, or Ziggy Zaggy Ziggy Zaggy Plow Plow Plow. Our Operations team is now looking to name six more snow clearing vehicles to get them ready for next winter – and they need your help to choose the best names! We’ll announce the winners in the spring then reveal the snow plows with their new names later this year.

We created a shortlist of names from those suggested by Kitchener residents last year. This includes a selection of frequently suggested names and funny or clever names.
