We’ve developed two design concepts for the new splash pad at Lions Park, based on resident feedback.

Please review and share your feedback on each option. Your input will help shape a space that’s fun, welcoming, and enjoyable for families and visitors of all ages.

This activity will take 10 minutes to do. It closes February 22, 2026.

Compare Option A and B

Age‑appropriate zones

Both options organize the splash pad area into three clearly defined age‑appropriate zones. Here are the zone locations for option A:

  • Toddler area: Positioned near the playground and closer to existing swings, making it convenient for families with young children.
  • Youth area: Centrally located for easy visibility and access.
  • Active area: Positioned farther from toddler spaces, providing more room and appropriate distance.

Amenities and features

  • Seat walls: Distributed around the splash pad for passive viewing and resting.
  • Shade structure: Located adjacent to the splash pad, providing sun protection for supervising caregivers.
  • Shade trees: Placed along the perimeter for natural shade over time.
  • Bike racks: Near the main path for easy access.
  • Trash bins: Positioned along walkways.
  • Site furniture: Benches and tables located near the splash pad and shade.
  • Baseball diamond net extension: The netting will be extended vertically and horizontally to provide additional safety.

Option B offers a more centralized gathering experience, with shade, seat walls, and furniture arranged closer together. The splash pad zones are more integrated, offering easier movement between age‑appropriate spaces.
