Let's talk!

Thanks for adding your voice to the conversation. There are four fun and interactive activities, plus a quick survey about this activity. Open until June 30, 2025.

Tell us about your experiences engaging with us.

We engage our community on a number of different issues. Over the last few years, we’ve sought public input to help us make decisions on projects like Places and Spaces, Kitchener 2051 and the Downtown Cycling Grid, to name a few.

Tell us what has gone well, what hasn’t and how we can improve. Once you leave your comment, other people can “like” it (by clicking the heart symbol) or add a response.

We want to ensure we’re engaging with you and others in the community in a meaningful and respectful way. We’ve identified six values we think are important. They will guide and shape the things we do when we engage with you.

Click "like" on the values you support. Then read each value and imagine saying that we met that value. Tell us:

  • What actions would we have taken to achieve this?
  • What would we have done for you?

3. Our vision for engagement

Imagine 3 years from now the City of Kitchener and our residents have received an award of excellence in community engagement…

  • What do the headlines say?
  • What are you saying?
  • What have we achieved?
  • What is your hope for how the City engages with you …

In 140 characters or less, share your biggest hopes. Give a thumbs up 👍 on other ideas you like.
