This is my husband Larry Brooks. Looking so very proud and happy in his retirement to take up employment at mostly the Rangers games or any other jobs offered. I can’t even put into words how much this meant to him. Having worked without any days off between Uniroyal and Goodrich for almost 40 years, having this responsibility and purpose and most of all the social contact and making new friends brought him so much joy. Other ushers and also patrons will remember his unending supply of JOLLY ROGER CANDY. This picture was taken when they had recently switched from burgundy suit jackets to the blue sport jacket and lime green shirts. Can’t remember who took the photo but a huge Thank you for capturing this proud moment. Alas a stroke curtailed things a bit but his employer was more than accommodating in welcoming him back. Then Covid hit.

Working on Rangers home broadcasts for Rogers TV, I’ve been lucky to meet some amazingly talented people. As a Kitchener kid who grew up listening to the legendary Don Cameron from The Aud or on the road, getting a chance to call a game in the booth next to his in 2017 (and have a quick picture and chat during the pre-game warm-up) is a moment I will forever be grateful for.

Best memories ever of the Aud is standing under the Queen when Brian Bellows and Company 1982? would be in warm up and you would have to dodge pucks flying off of the goal post, cross bar and back wall. I really learned how to pay attention at the age of 10! - John Querengesser

I remember seeing my first concert at the Aud in 1976, it was Kiss, what an amazing night for a small town girl from Kincardine to come to the big city and see them!

I also have great memories of seeing both of my kids and their class, singing the national anthem, they loved that they got to tour the Ranger's dressing room!

And it was always a great time watching the Rangers play! - Shelley Milatz

One of my favorite Aud moments was April 6, 1997 when Team Canada beat team USA in overtime in front of a sold out crowd during the Women's World Hockey Championship. Not only was the Canadian win special but the energy in the sold out facility was a phenomenal. - Kim Kugler

Peter DeBoer joined the Kitchener Rangers for their 2001/2002 season. In this picture, Peter is shown with his arm around the late Don Cameron, the voice of the Kitchener Rangers. This picture was taken on September 2nd, 2001 at the annual Kitchener Rangers Fan Day. It is hard to believe that it has been almost twenty years since this picture was taken. Both Peter and Don added so much to the Rangers and to the Kitchener Auditorium. What a great picture of the two of them together.
